VCCP Launchpad Brand Identity

VCCP Launchpad is an entry level scheme of training and inspiration for new starters within the Chime communication group. The idea is to give the candidates an excellent grounding in all the disciplines of communication throughout Chime’s company roster, so they get a rounded view of the integrated comms world and what it all means.

With a young and energetic audience that are eager to get going in their career, the brand idea along with look and feel needed to reflect this visually and tonally. The idea developed was to show a separation from the past into the future and how the candidate can go from learner to professional within a career path of their choice.

Using the VCCP business colours and fonts, I created a bold, vibrant brand that projected a sense of movement and development for the candidates. This was achieved by utilising double exposure photography, a graphic device that resembles acceleration or lifting off into the atmosphere and a set of space themed icon illustrations to reinforce the notion of lifting off into the galaxy.
