The Cambridge are a mutual society and have been an integral part of the Cambridgeshire community since 1850. As such an established and engrained business, CBS has accumulated a large population of customers / members that have been with them through generations of their family.
Growing in success, CBS are developing with technology and modern banking. Updating there branches with new decors, interactive screes, developing online banking and creating a banking app. That being said, there is still a larger proportion of their senior client base that much prefer to do all there bank transactions in branch.
In order to help all their customers have the confidence and know how when it comes to using their online services, they needed an awareness campaign. Firstly to let there customers know about the services, but also to guide them on how to use it. We looked specifically at their mobile App.
Working together with a copy writer, we soon realised that what we need to show is how simple the app is to use and how it it can be a natural addition to everyday life. Using the tagline “Right here with you” and marrying with a POV photographic style, we have shown that the app seamlessly slots into people’s lives – wherever they are and whatever they’re doing. We produced digital posters to be placed in and round the streets of Cambridge, in store posters and also an animation that gives the viewer 5 reasons to download the app.
